Onboarding Platform for Amazon Prime Originals

From July 2021 to February 2022, I served as a Front-End Developer and Lead UX Designer at Amazon Studios Technology, spearheading the creation of a custom onboarding platform for production teams working on Amazon Prime Originals. The platform was developed to streamline onboarding workflows, providing centralized access to critical resources for key production members.

Key responsibilities included designing and implementing the platform using Ghost CMS, a tool I quickly adapted to despite limited prior experience. The website served as a hub for production teams, offering:

• Training materials tailored to Amazon Prime Originals Productions’ needs.
• Production checklists to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• A pre-production meeting scheduler for seamless coordination.

This project was executed amidst significant challenges, including the rapid expansion of the Studios Technology Department, tight resource constraints, and a short-staffed team due to the leave of the main UX Designer. I took ownership of the project, leveraging my CMS development expertise and proactive problem-solving skills to ensure timely delivery by the original January 2022 deadline.

The platform successfully launched in early 2022, simplifying onboarding for production teams and facilitating a more efficient start-to-finish process for Amazon Prime Originals productions.
